Separating portions of your Word document with a graphical horizontal line will make it easier to read and more aesthetically appealing. You can select from a variety of eye-catching graphic horizontal lines provided to divide a word document into sections.
In the creation of any word document, sections play a vital role. A word processing document can be divided into sections if you want distinct sections to have different headers or footers, number of columns, title pages, or page-numbering systems.
Sections can be added to Word documents. The margins, page size, orientation, borders, header, footer, columns, page and line numbering, footnotes, and endnotes can all be customized for each part. To construct section breaks, use the Section Breaks commands on the Page Layout tab.
Settings employed to create parts within the document window?
The Window settings section of the View tab contains the split screen button. Save yourself the time of scrolling up and down a Word page by using this convenient button to divide your screen. By using horizontal divisions, you may divide a document into two portions on a single screen.
Use horizontal lines to create sections in Word documents:
1. Place your cursor where you want the horizontal line to appear on the page.
2. Select Format | Borders and Shading in step.
3. Select the Horizontal Line option under the Borders tab.
4. Select the correct line by scrolling through the available possibilities.
5. Press OK.
Subdocuments are created when Word documents are divided into smaller files depending on the chapters or titles in your file. They are linked to the main document, so if you edit or add content to one of the subdocuments, the main document will also reflect your changes. Subdocuments can also be divided into different files.
You may use a table to handle the task of dividing a page into four sections. Place the cursor at the top left of the page, choose 2 x 2 Table under Insert > Table, and then click OK. After inserting the table, slide the right corner to resize it as necessary.
To determine where one page stops and another begins, use page breaks. Put the cursor where you want a new page to begin. Select Page Break > Insert.
Publishers allow you to print several postcards on a single page.
Select "File" > "Print."
Choose the printer you wish to use from the Printer list.
Select Multiple pages per sheet and the amount of Copies of each page under Settings' Pages drop-down list.
The Page Layout tab of your choice. Select the Breaks button by clicking the down arrow. You see a menu. Select the section break type by clicking it. Section breaks are inserted by Word.
1) First, select the View tab.
2) In the Views group, choose Draft.
3) Select the section break you wish to remove by clicking it.
4) Hit the Delete button.

4) Press the Delete key. Word deletes the section break.
First, start a new Word document, then select Mailings from the ribbon and then Labels under Create. Click on Options in the new dialogue box that appears. Scroll down to 1/4 Letter, choose Microsoft as the label vendor, and then click OK.
To split and format texts of various sizes, use section breaks. You might, for instance, divide parts into chapters and format each one with columns, headings, and footers. Choose the starting point for each new part. Select Breaks under Layout.
